Yakitori Skewers

Ingredients for Sauce:

1/2 cup mirim
1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp Asian BBQ
Heat to a boil, reduce to simmer for 30 minutes.  Let cool to room temp.
Ingredients for Skewers: 
Soak bamboo skewers for 30 minutes.
Cube beef chicken pork or duck, skewer meat then skewer one inch long scallion and then meat. Repeat until skewers are filled.  Heat coals until red hot and place skewers directly over coals.  Turn frequently.  Remove and baste with remaining sauce.
